Well, we all wondered the same ...
The moment I got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), I was told there was nothing I could do, apart from sticking to a heavy medication regimen and hoping for the best. My disease was said to affect everyone differently. But since I was in the progressive stage, with relapse after relapse, it wasn’t looking great.
All I heard was negative comments, and honestly, I wanted to give up. I needed hope to see a future with my fiancé - something to fight for.
Luckily, my mom spent months researching, connecting with peers, and digging into alternative paths to healing. She finally found incredible stories of how lifestyle habits and a holistic approach had radically transformed the lives of thousands around the world.
The turning point came when I read about Dr. Terry Wahls, a doctor who had been in a wheelchair due to MS. Rather than accept the status quo, Dr. Wahls focused on understanding the "why" behind her condition and created a dietary protocol designed to halt inflammation. In less than a year, she regained full mobility and now bikes to work every day. This was a breakthrough for me.
Dr. Wahls continues to spread the word and offer a protocol to help others with autoimmune conditions, emphasizing the importance of focusing on root causes—especially gut health. As Wahls says, "No drug can heal a person in the absence of a healthy diet and lifestyle."
When I shared this information with my neurologist, including the scientific research backing it (like Mathew Embry's extensive studies), I was told not to take it too seriously. I was encouraged to "enjoy life while I can." But I didn't take that advice. I chose to change my life. I built a new normal—and now, almost a year and a half later, I’m still relapse-free, learning to understand my body more each day.
From a place of total despair to thriving, I can confidently say: Yes, there is hope.
One of the biggest eye-openers was learning that doctors receive less than 25 hours of training on lifestyle, gut health, and holistic approaches to well-being. This gap in knowledge left millions of patients in the dark.
So, together with my best friend, we made it our life's mission to help others. We’ve built BuddyRise, a community of hope backed by science and real-life stories. We aim to bring this vital knowledge to light, guide you through it, and use powerful data to change the autoimmune narrative once and for all.
Join the BuddyRise community today and take control of your health journey, backed by the power of science, community, and proven strategies for well-being.
There is hope.
With love,
Charline
